As we all go through our lives, whether you're a writer like me, or a musician, or an accountant, or a high school principal, or a customer service rep, or whatever, we all seem to be oblivious to the way that time keeps on ticking away. So what does that mean to us all? In the end, it means that we all only get so much and time is an unforgiving resource in our lives. It cannot.not be saved. There is only so much for everyone.
Here is the point. The time will pass away whether you want it to or not. Seconds, minutes, hours, days, weeks, months, years, they will all pass away. So the question is: how will you spend that time? So for instance, if you are a writer and time is going to pass any way, why not start earlier, work harder, and write more?
There is a momentum to success...in life, in business, in writing, in everything. We just have to choose to want more than our life is. It always takes more time to get moving than it does to keep moving, so as long as time is going to go by anyway, keep moving. Make your dream come true. Make this life something fantastic. Never look back.
I am spurred to this post today by a life wasted. I am inspired to these words by a man that knew that his life was not as he wanted it, but felt powerless to make it better, and I want you all to know that we are not powerless. Yes, life is going to tick away and it's never going to come back, but if we can take a more focused look at how we spend that time, our lives will be better. So we can love better. We can work harder. We can dream bigger. We can hope more. We can focus on what is good. Why not? It's just a choice. The time will pass anyway.
